Abstract
Subject of this essay are the following terms of Lacan which will be discussed freely with the help of Saussure's theory of the symbol: "langage" and "speach of the unconsciousness" ("competency to symbolize", "origin and effects of the true subject" or the "Significant One").
Above all, the author refers to Lacan's conception of the human competency to symbolize, with regard to Saussure's "langage".
