Abstract

In the present paper I intend to analyse, criticise and
suggest an alternative to Richard Swinburne"s use of
Bayes"s theorem to justify the belief that there is a God.
Swinburne"s contribution here lies in the scope of his project
and the interpretation he adopts for Bayes"s formula, a
very important theorem of the probability calculus.
